Collaboration with artist Trevor Paglen to open in NYC on Sept. 10th 2015-08-27
Earlier this year I worked with photographer and artist Trevor Paglen on a piece that will be firstly shown at Metropictures gallery in New York City from Sept. 10th.
It’s a stunning ca. 20 minutes long visual work for which I created a 5.1 sound track. It’s the first time I worked with a visual artist and the result is really worth watching I think.
Definitely worth checking out if you are in NYC between Sept. 10th and Oct. 24th.
After that the piece will travel to other locations in the world. Stay tuned for news.
Here’s a little teaser that gives a little glimpse but obviously only scratches the surface.
Quoting a review:
“With minimal background noise and a thrumming ambient soundtrack by Frank Kruse, Eighty Nine Landscapes is the security state as horror movie, in which all the violence takes place off-screen.”
